NOBLE Chicago Chapter Partners with the Chicago Police Foundation

National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) Chicago Chapter Partners with the Chicago Police Foundation to Build Stronger Relationships Between the Community and the Police

[Alexandria, VA] The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) Chicago Chapter announces partnership with the Chicago Police Foundation to help build stronger relationships between the community and the police. The Chicago Police Foundation is providing approximately $30,000 in funding to support the delivery of the Law and Your Community program by the NOBLE Chicago Chapter.

"Through the Foundation's generous sponsorship, our chapter will be able to implement two initiatives this summer," stated Eugene Williams, NOBLE Chicago Chapter President. "The first, in partnership with the DuSable Museum of African-American History, is a one-of-a-kind summer mentoring program which expands on our school-year program, "The Law and Your Community". The second will allow us to offer several summer youth workshops."

"The Chicago Police Foundation believes that this is an effective program for helping to open dialogue and interaction between the CPD and community members," said John C. Robak, Chair of the Chicago Police Foundation. "And, we're pleased to support the expansion of The Law and Your Community program during the summer, when it will provide a positive learning activity and experience for students when they are out of school."
